Taylor Lake Banff Alberta

Taylor Lake is located up the popular Taylor Lake trail in Banff National Park. It starts off shallow and gets deeper from the backcountry campground. The water is clear and sight fishing is possible.

Taylor Lake Cutthroat Trout

Cutthroat Trout in naturally producing Taylor Lake are varied in size. I was able to get a decent amount of action here with fish up to 16". Fishing from the rocky shore was best.
