Luellen Lake Banff Alberta

Luellen Lake located in Banff National Park along the Johnson Creek Trail. A backcountry campground is located on its shore for those wishing to stay. The warmer waters in this lake are clear with a somewhat shallower shore.

Luellen Lake Cutthroat Trout

Luellen Lake offers some fantastic fishing for cutthroat trout. These fish are aggressive and abundant. Most of the fish I caught were in the 14 to17" range. I also found the fish here so have some of the nicest coloring I have seen in cutthroat. I have visited twice and never been disappointed.
