Prairie Creek/Powderface Creek Loop

Rating: 4 of 5
Difficulty: Medium
Length : ~21Km
Elevation gain: ~400m

This is a popular place for mountain bikers. I went clockwise around this but everyone has a preference, you could go both ways. The trail up Powderface Creek was steeper up some rocky trail so I didn't mind pushing the bike up this part. At the top part of this section is a turnoff to Powderface Ridge trail. One of the pics below is a view off the ridge. The next section is downhill to Powderface Road. We took the road to the Prairie Creek trail head as the alternate trail seemed muddy. Prairie Creek was some nice and fast single-track that was not to steep. Watch out for one drop off towards the end as it could be nasty. I believe there is a sign.
