The campground is nice. Its basically your standard fare National Park site. If it rains expect a bit of mud as the sites are not padded. The site itelf is not right on the lake but only a short walk away. There is a creek along side the campground for water. The hike in is easy and flat. (I wish you could take bikes) I recommend the overnight stay as it would be along day trip given the distances.
